Q: How much does it cost for The Margarita Man services?
A: The price is $190.00. This includes delivery of our premium frozen drink machine, cart it sits upon, optional Tiki umbrella, Island decorations, your first gourmet mix concentrate, pre-measured mixing container, Margarita salt (if requested), set up, and pick up the next day.

Q: Are the machines easy to use?
A: Yes indeed. We mix the first batch and show you how to use your machine. We leave clear printed instructions and we are on call for immediate service in case of emergency (mix runs are not considered an emergency, so you really should order extra...there is a $25.00 re-delivery charge in addition to the cost of the mix if we have to return to your location.  Remember...you only pay for what you use!!) NO ICE NEEDED!

Q: How many drinks does one batch make?
A: One batch of margaritas makes about 50 to 60 eight ounce drinks. Our experience shows that usually half or more guests drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice. We recommend one batch for every 25 guests. Extra mixes are $25.00 and are refundable if unopened.

Q: How long does the first batch take to freeze?
A: Just 45 minutes! No waiting between batches. These machines are workhorses (in the heat of the summer with heavy usage, there might be be a 10 minute rest period for the machine to catch up, as long as you don't allow the hopper to completely empty.)

Q: Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?
A: You provide all the liquor. A medium strength batch of margaritas call for 1 1/2- 1.75 liter bottles (1 1/2 handles) of tequila. All other flavors use 2 liters for regular strength (or 1 handle for a medium strength) of alcohol per batch. See our recipes pages for basic or advanced mixology, or create your own!.

All of our mixes are non-alcoholic. We are the premier choice for school functions throughout New Jersey and participate in "Project Graduation" to keeps our kids safe. Q: Are other kinds of drinks available?
A: Absolutely. You can serve Strawberry Daiquiris, Strawberry Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Rum Runners, Louisiana Hurricanes, Tropical Punch, Goombay Smash, Red or Blue Raspberry Ritas, Go Mango, Mudslides, Banana Daiquiris, Peach Bellinis, Lemon Freezers, Watermelon, Pain Killer, Dreamsicle, Mai Tai, or mix and match to create your own recipes too, like banana-strawberry.

Q: How far in advance should I reserve my machine?
A: We recommend four weeks for a Saturday night rental from June through September. Make sure the number of guests does not exceed the drink making capacity (80 guests served 8oz drinks per hour for each machine), otherwise the machine will not perform properly. Ask about our multi-machine rental discounts!

We don't deliver double machines! They take forever to freeze, are very problematic, have a tendency to leak all over your floor, and when they run out, you have wait for hours for the next batch to freeze. Our multi-machine plan is a much better way to go.
